This visit is a chance to have a closer contact with our rich local flora and fauna.
We´ll cross the Tijuca National Park by car, stop for short walks to visit the biggest watrerfall in the park (Cascatinha Taunay) and to appreciate the panoramic views at “Vista Chinesa” (Monday to Friday), before visiting the Botanical Garden.

Julio was incredible! During our time in Rio de Janeiro we were celebrating our birthdays and our wedding anniversary, Julio made it a point to not only bring us to the destinations that we wanted to experience, he was in tuned with us enough to ask what we enjoyed and introduced us to local favorites like Assador and Fantana. Whenever we travel we always make it a point to get a feel for the culture and Julio did not disappoint! We loved that he even gave us a demonstration of the growing sport of footvolley!! He is spectacular!!! If you need an English speaking guide that puts you first and makes sure that you get the most of your time in Rio then Julio is your guy!! Best guide in Rio!!! We spent a lovely day with Julio in Rio. Already the pre-alignment via WhatsApp worked perfectly fine and efficient. Julio designed an individual tour exactly to our wishes. He picked us up in time, has a nice car and is a super sympathetic guy - we really laughed a lot during the day. He brought us safely to many interesting places in Rio, which we would not have seen without him. And he charged us a super fair price. We enjoyed our private tour from Julio. He was a great guide and planned ahead to make the best use of our time and avoid crowds. He also added in some additional fun such as the local farmers market for lunch which we would not have known to visit otherwise. He is very knowledgeable about the sites, the area, the culture and everything that we wanted to learn about. He was also a great photographer and knew where and how to get the best pictures for us.
